PRESIDENT FARMAJO MEETS TRANSITIONAL GOVERNORS OF BOTH HOUSES


 Mogadishu, April 16, 2022; The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo who met with the Interim Speakers of the House of the People HE Abdisalam Haji Ahmed (Dhabancad) and the Upper House Senator Mohamed Ali Yusuf (Gagaab) congratulated him on his national responsibilities.


 The President commended the Speakers of the two Houses of the BFS for the smooth opening of the 1st Session of the 1st Session of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, and prayed for God's help in fulfilling its constitutional mandate.


 For their part, the two Speakers thanked the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia for the meeting, and underlined their commitment to expedite the country's elections.
